He actively participated in teaching programs and trained many budding urologists during his tenure at CMC Vellore. Published many original RCT articles in most prestigious journals (Journal of Urology) and other national and international indexed journals. He was awarded by the Urological Society of India for the Chandigarh Best Video Prize on "Renal Autotransplantation in Takayasu’s Disease with Complex Ex-Vivo Repair". He is trained in HoLEP from Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge UK. He has been invited to many conferences as a guest speaker and faculty member. He has more than 5000 successful major surgeries including hundreds of challenging and redo-surgeries under his belt. There are also more than 1000 successful kidney transplants to his credit. He has worked for six years in Fortis Hospital, Amritsar and was instrumental in setting up the department of advanced Urology & Renal Transplantation with high end armamentarium including 100 Watt Holmium Laser and Urodynamics Lab. He has also worked as Senior Consultant Urologist and Chief Kidney Transplant Surgeon at SevenHills Hospital, Mumbai for almost 3 years. He is currently practicing as Senior Consultant Urologist and Kidney Transplant Surgeon at Fortis Hospital Mulund, Lilavati Hospital Bandra West, S.L Raheja Hospital (A Fortis Associate) Mahim West and Kokilaben Hospital Navi Mumbai
